About Me
Jessica, who also goes by “Jess” or “Jessy”, has been a mental health professional since 2004. Her early work was with foster families and children who suffered significant trauma. Her work during her Master’s program was in shelters and day programs where clients were “in the system” of CINS/FINS or DJJ. Post Master’s, she has worked with several children and families who had been displaced by child/family services. Since then, she has been in private practice (8/2013), where she continues to encourage clients to listen, respect, honor, and appreciate themselves and others as Valuable and Important, while also contributing to what matters most at that time; including safety and trust. Jessica grew up in Upstate New York, where she learned to ski and drive manual transmission. She lived in Florida for nearly 21 years, where she learned to surf and train for a mini-Triathlon. She relocated to Utah in 2020, where she continues to train for a mini-Tri and would love to return to the slopes. She enjoys reading for educational purposes but also true crime/mystery and bio/autobiographical. Jessica is married and has 2 cats; Raja and Trouble and 2 dogs; Choco and Latte,
