About Me

I am a UK Registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I work with Adult individuals and couples. have been described as an empathic, warm, and compassionate Psychotherapist. I work with clients to explore the underlying aspects of themselves they may not always be aware of, to understand how they see themselves, how they deal with others and see the world. I work with clients to understand why they keep behaving or thinking in a particular way, or why certain things keep happening to them (for example repetitive patterns in relationships). I work with clients so that together we can try to understand the influence past experiences in life have had on them and how it impacts them in the present day. I believe that when a client has awareness of this, they can move towards changing these patterns of behaviour. I have experience of working with clients with a range of presenting issues including working with traumatic events, both cumulative and single events, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, lack of confidence, struggling with decision making, grief, relationship issues, transitions. I have experience of working within the NHS in the UK in an IAPT service, During my work within the IAPT service I facilitated bereavement groups, creating a space where people could come together to start to process their grief. I also have experience of working as a Psychotherapist within the Gynaecological Oncology team at University College London Hospitals. I have experience of working as a Psychotherapist, in person, in the UK and Hong Kong (2019-2024) and I understand the high pressure of work within certain industries and the impact that this has on clients. Please note I work both in-person and online. I am based in South West London and Central London for in-person appointments. I am fluent in English and British Sign Language.
