About Me

Hello! I meet with children, teens, and adults, and I am open for new clients (either telehealth or in-office). Our meetings are a nonjudgmental space for you to resolve traumatic memories; process family experiences, explore your strengths and values; and learn helpful communication and coping skills. I also specialize with young adults who grew up in high-control religious and/or homeschooling environments, who want to to process their past and create a future that feels true to them. Wanting to support others from this shared background is the reason I became a therapist. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a National Certified Counselor, and an EMDR-trained therapist. My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and creative, and I adjust what we do in our sessions to whatever is most helpful for you. My priority is for you to feel safe, welcome, and understood. Clients say that they can tell I truly care, and that our therapy process has helped them create positive changes in their lives. This is the best kind of feedback I can get, and I am so grateful to be in this role. Please call or email me with any questions, or to discuss starting therapy soon.

Education & Experience

Master of Arts: Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy (University of Central Florida); Bachelor of Arts: Interpersonal & Organizational Communication, Minor in Psychology (University of Central Florida); Before starting my private practice, I worked in a community agency, providing therapy services in schools, homes, and an outpatient office. In graduate school, I gained clinical experience in community counseling center, high school, and domestic violence center settings. I also interned as a group facilitator for a children’s grief center in college.
