About Me
I was trained in 2011 in EMDR. I recently completed the certification process myself and I am working towards becoming an EMDR trainer. I have been using EMDR for the past 7 years in my own practice. I have worked with survivors of trauma for my whole 25 year career as a therapist. I am also trained as an Art Therapist and like to weave drawing & art into my EMDR work with clients. I work primarily with PTSD; recent incident, pre-verbal and childhood trauma, foster care and adoptive families, infertility, attachment and childhood abuse. I am also an adoptive /foster parent myself navigating transracial issues in our new age family.

Master's Degree in Art Therapy 1994 Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor KY 2010 Licensed Professional Art Therapist KY 2004 I have 30 years of clinical experience. 20 years in Community Mental Health with adults and children. Trained in Art & Play Therapy Techniques. 10 years as a clinical manager and in Leadership Roles. I have had my own Group Practice focusing on EMDR for the past 10 years.
