About Me

***As of May 2024, my practice is mostly full*** I help high achievers who have fallen into a rut; or, who have lived through (or witnessed) dreadful events or betrayals relieve the burden of the memories, fears, negative self-beliefs and triggers. The common thread is that despite being motivated, driven, determined, and outwardly having it together, my clients find life, relationships, or work have become a struggle. Many of my clients have roles that require being in front of others (helpers, entertainers, executives, high-profile individuals) and enter therapy just getting by. When many of my clients first come in, I am told that they do not recognize the person they have become. Burnout, compounded by a flare-up of insecurities, has led to a pattern of unhelpful behaviors and feeling stuck. Some clients tell me they have reached a point where they are not trusting other people. Some feel betrayed and find themselves going down the rabbit hole of thinking negative thoughts. This creates anxiety, feelings of depression, wanting to isolate and worrisome patterns. After working with me, clients have reported improved confidence in career, relationships and in their future endeavors. I’ve been told they feel empowered with more helpful thoughts. They leave having re-gained a meaningful life & either enjoying the activities that once brought joy, or connecting to others in ways that feel more natural. Many report being able to explore new paths in life with renewed hope. This is not out of your reach. With an eclectic counseling approach and evidence-based models like EMDR therapy for PTSD, together, we will conquer triggers currently producing unwelcome symptoms.
