About Me

I help high achievers (professionals, leaders and other helpers) who have fallen into a rut; or, who have lived through (or witnessed) dreadful events or betrayals relieve the burden of the memories, fears, negative self-beliefs and triggers. The common thread is that despite being motivated, driven, determined, and outwardly having it together, my clients find life, relationships, or work have become a struggle. When many of my clients first come in, I am told that they do not recognize the person they have become. Burnout, compounded by a flare-up of insecurities, has led to a pattern of unhelpful behaviors and feeling stuck. Some clients tell me they have reached a point where they are not trusting other people. Some enter therapy feeling betrayed and find themselves going down the rabbit hole of thinking negative thoughts. This creates anxiety, feelings of depression, wanting to isolate and worrisome patterns. Before working with me, my clients have had feelings of being stressed, disoriented and under constant pressure and now have improved confidence in career, relationships and in their future endeavors. Re-gaining your life, the activities you once enjoyed, and your career--developing more positive beliefs in yourself--is not out of your reach. With EMDR and counseling, together you can get there by conquering triggers currently producing unwelcome symptoms.
