About Me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor with over a decade of experience working in various areas of the mental health field. I have a passion for working with individuals, groups, and families in improving their overall mental health and quality of life.
Education & Experience
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Alabama, followed by a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology, with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from Troy University. I am an EMDRIA Certified Therapist™ and Approved Consultant™, certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and a nationally rostered provider of Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Additionally, I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Gottman Method (Level 1). I am also a Registered Circle of Security Parenting™ (COSP) Facilitator.
