About Me
My clients usually find me because they are seeking a change and a new approach in therapy to process their trauma. You may feel stuck in some aspect of your life, such as how you are reacting in the present to things that happened in the past. Maybe you are having relationship issues, difficult life transitions, anxiety, depressive symptoms, relationship issues, grief, stress, PTSD or C-PTSD, and other concerns. I work with adult individuals who are seeking to explore their negative beliefs about themselves and create new stories for their lives going forward. Together, I hope we can meet those challenges with a sense of curiosity, kindness, warmth, mindfulness, and a deep compassion for your experience. It is especially important to me that I possess the right skills and tools tailored specifically for your unique goals and needs.
Education & Experience
I was trained as a mental health therapist at Saybrook University, where I earned my Master’s Degree in Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a Clinical Mental Health specialization. I received my EMDR training from the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. I am committed to cultivating clinical EMDR skills, knowledge, and competence, and as such, I have pursued additional consultation, clinical practice, and continuing education to become an EMDR certified therapist (EMDRIA).
