About Me
Kailin enjoys working with adults of all ages. She specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and empowers clients to gain a better understanding of post-traumatic stress. She guides clients to begin to reprocess past events and heal at their own pace with a trauma-informed approach tailored to individual client needs. Kailin also has extensive experience doing identity exploration and affirmation work with LGBTQIA+ identified clients. Additionally, Kailin works with clients who experience challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, inequity and discrimination, self-esteem, and relationships. Kailin is trained in multiple evidence-based treatment models, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Motivational Interviewing among others. She believes that every client deserves an empathetic, affirming space where they can bring all their identities into the room and receive non-judgmental, strengths-based care.
