About Me

Kara takes an eclectic and person-centered approach, tailoring therapy to each individual's needs. She is trained in EMDR and actively working toward certification. As an LGBTQIA+ allied and neurodivergent-affirming therapist, she provides a safe, inclusive space for healing. Her expertise includes working with PTSD, C-PTSD, OCD, anxiety disorders, phobias, ADHD and Autism. She integrates evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, ACT, CBT, and somatic therapies to build positive coping skills and foster deep, lasting healing.

Education & Experience

Kara earned her master’s degree from Ball State University in 2018 and has been dedicated to the field of therapy ever since. With experience in residential treatment, community mental health, and outpatient care, she has worked with individuals of all ages, from young children to adults.
