About Me
Helping others heal from their traumas at any level is a true honor. I appreciate the EMDR process that bridges the healing in other ways that cannot be accessed in other interventions. In addition, I love animals and nature and appreciate camping and hiking in terrain that is challenging and yet always rewarding.
Education & Experience
I have a Bachelors and Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana. My first therapy job was helping opening a new addictions hospital in Newburgh Indiana, Brentwood Meadows. I learned a tremendous amount about addictions and how to treat it along with developing successful clinical and therapeutic skills. It is there that I realized the traumas of those suffering from addictions. I am now a private practice owner of Breakthrough Counseling, Inc in Evansville, IN where I treat adults with trauma, anxiety, eating disorders and life adjustments. I utilize EMDR in 95% of my clientele with success.
