About Me
I love helping people reconnect with what's most important to them in the healing process. My work integrates EMDR with third-wave cognitive behavioral modalities, especially Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. As a daily practitioner of meditation/yoga, I frequently integrate mindfulness based practices into my clinical work. The foundation of my work is a warm, genuine and caring relationship with my clients.
Education & Experience
I have a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. I spent over 20 years working in university counseling centers, during which time I created a psychology internship training program that was accredited by the American Psychological Association. I now work exclusively in private practice.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
In addition to EMDRIA, I am affiliated with the American Psychological Association and the San Diego Psychological Association.
