About Me

I am a trauma psychotherapist. Trauma affects many aspects of our lives and how we feel. Trauma becomes part of depression, anxiety, abuse, sleep and many other aspects of our lives, including in the womb. .

Education & Experience

I graduated with a Masters in Educational Counselling Psychology and went directly on to a PhD. in Counselling Psychology. For both degrees I researched Hope which is an important part of trauma healing.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

Member of Alberta Psyhcologists' Association, Clinical Hypnosis of Alberta, Volunteered in sports to help my daughter and now three grandchildren. Spent 2014-2021 with a group that challenged the Alberta Governemnt not to build a temporary reservoir on pioneer grassland and leaving us residents upstream without a drinking water source as the era of drought is now beginning. Now i'm part of a team to awaken the residents in the province of moving to a drought mentality which involves awareness of how to efficiently use the limited water that is occurring. All of these activities help a wide range of people in different and unexpected ways.
