About Me

I am a proud mom of two. My children gave me strength I didn't know was possible when we tragically lost their father to cancer in 2017. The identity of widow still doesn't fit comfortably in my life. And yet, the journey of loss, perseverance and finding a different way to live in the world has broadened my depth of understanding and compassion for the work of counselling and more specifically trauma. There is beauty and love in the world, even in the darkest of times.
