About Me

In both my personal and professional experiences, I have come to learn many of us suffer from trauma in our lives. I recognize how difficult it can be to live a full and satisfying life when the negative effects of trauma go unresolved. My passion for supporting survivors of trauma led me to seek additional training in EMDR. Fortunately, EMDR is an effective way to support our brain and body in the healing process so you may get back on track to living a life full of vitality. I am honored to work alongside my clients, and find it incredibly worthwhile to witness the transformation of pain to empowerment and healing.

Education & Experience

I have a BS in Biology from the State University of New York (SUNY) Geneseo, and my MA from the University of Colorado Denver in Counselor Psychology and Counselor Education with a specialization in Couple and Family Therapy. Since 2003, I have worked in a variety of clinical roles in various settings including inpatient, residential and partial hospitalization programs, community based clinics, and university counseling centers. Currently, I work with clients in my private practice.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

In addition to being a member of EMDRIA, I am also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT).
