About Me
As a therapist, I’m passionate about supporting women with the unique challenges we face. From relationships to postpartum challenges, I can help you navigate the emotional complexities of various life transitions. My passion for reproductive mental health began when I worked with pregnant and parenting adolescents in an intensive care setting. Since then, I have dedicated my career to supporting women throughout the reproductive years and with the many factors that influence a woman’s well-being across the lifespan. I am particularly interested in working with women adjusting to motherhood, those navigating complex family dynamics, and those coping with grief and loss. I’ve also had the privilege of witnessing women have the courage to overcome and heal from their trauma.
Education & Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Toronto, Ontario. My Master’s Degree coursework focused primarily on counselling with children and families. In my post graduate training I have focused on perinatal mental health, trauma recovery, relationship dynamics, mindfulness, and women’s empowerment. I am working towards my certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Repossessing,) and have completed training in Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
