Katelyn Kivett, LCMHC, LPC
About Me
Katelyn is a warm, compassionate therapist who creates an authentic and gently humorous space for women to fall apart, rebuild, and reconnect with their inner strength. With a trauma-informed, human-centered approach, Katelyn specializes in working with survivors of the experiences we’re often told to keep quiet: domestic violence, childhood sexual abuse, and sexual assault.
Education & Experience
Using evidence-based modalities like EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, and parts work, Katelyn helps you regulate your nervous system and begin to feel safe in your body again. This work isn’t about rushing your healing, it’s about honoring your pace, your story, and your worth.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
In sessions, you’ll never be pressured to share more than you’re ready for, and you’ll never be made to feel like your trauma is “too much.” Katelyn offers a grounded, safe place to land, one where her own lived experience allows her to show up authentically and supportively, so you can explore yours without fear of judgment or caretaking someone else’s reactions.
