About Me
I am a psychotherapist, couple counselor, and sex therapist. I use EMDR for a variety of patient needs including, but not limited to, complex trauma; sexual trauma; sex therapy; avoidant or anxious attachment; anxiety, panic and phobias. I offer appointments that are 55-120 minutes in length, or intensives (half day, day, weekend) if patients prefer more concentrated treatment. I use a number of adjunct therapies including polyvagal techniques, ego state therapy, mindfulness, and hypnosis to create a well-rounded treatment plan.
Education & Experience
I received my MSW from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Social Work and I primarily trained in EMDR with the EMDR Institute. I have done advanced training in EMDR/Ego State therapy. Additionally, I am trained in clinical hypnosis which I use as an adjunct therapy when requested and clinically appropriate.
