About Me

I am an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Therapist, Consultant, and Trainer with a strong commitment to helping clients heal from complex trauma, relational wounds, and current distressing life experiences. My work is grounded in the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model and emphasizes careful case conceptualization, attunement, and ethical application of EMDR therapy across diverse clinical presentations. I specialize in working with individuals impacted by childhood trauma, attachment and relational injuries, and long-standing patterns that interfere with connection, safety, and self-worth, as well as those navigating recent or acute trauma. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is safe, collaborative, and paced to each client’s needs, allowing healing to unfold with stability and care. My approach is relational and integrative, honoring clients’ values, beliefs, and meaning-making systems as important resources in the healing process when clinically appropriate. In addition to direct clinical work, I enjoy training and consulting with other clinicians, supporting their growth in confidence and competence in EMDR therapy. I am committed to providing care that helps clients feel deeply seen, supported, and empowered as they move toward lasting change. On a day off, I enjoy being outside with my many dogs, arts and crafts with my stepdaughter, or trying a new restaurant with my husband.

Education & Experience

I have been a licensed professional counselor and EMDRIA-certified EMDR Therapist since 2019, with formal EMDR training completed in 2016. I earned my Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where my clinical formation emphasized trauma-informed care, ethical practice, and integrative understanding of human suffering and resilience. My clinical experience includes extensive work with trauma, attachment injuries, and relational distress. I am trained in Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS for relationship counseling and have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I am also an authorized Darkness to Light Childhood Sexual Abuse Prevention Facilitator and a facilitator with the EMDR Support Network. In addition to clinical practice, I own and operate a multidisciplinary group private practice in Oklahoma City. I am currently pursuing ISSTD Certification and developing a Basic Training Review Course to support clinicians in strengthening foundational EMDR knowledge and clinical application.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I am actively engaged in professional and community-based service that reflects my commitment to ethical leadership, prevention, and meaningful connection. I serve as a facilitator with the EMDR Support Network and as an authorized Darkness to Light Childhood Sexual Abuse Prevention Facilitator, supporting education and advocacy efforts related to trauma-informed care. Beyond my professional roles, I am active in my local church community and volunteer with the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. I also serve on the Board of Waterrock Ministries, contributing to organizational leadership and strategic support. I have a particular passion for mentoring and supporting young adults navigating the transitional period following college, a season often marked by identity development, relational shifts, and increased vulnerability. This work informs my clinical and leadership approach, emphasizing presence, curiosity, and resilience during times of change.
