About Me

Hello! My name is Kathrina Cann, and I am the founder and owner of Nourished Minds Therapy and Consulting. I focus on helping you heal your past wounds so you can start living, fully and wholly, in the now. My treatment areas of speciality include trauma, anxiety, disordered eating, low self-esteem, dissociation, panic, and depression. In my practice, I provide psychoeducation throughout the therapeutic journey, empowering you to learn how to identify what your mind, body, and spirit uniquely need from you to live the life you want. I integrate EMDR therapy with leading evidenced-based treatment approaches, such as IFS and ACT, to ensure you have the safety and tools to get to the root of the issues and truly heal. If you want to wake up feeling refreshed, motivated, and ready to accomplish your goals, rather than wondering how you're going to get through yet another day, you’ve come to the right practice. I am currently offering EMDR intensives to provide a more concentrated approach for deep healing and faster results.

Education & Experience

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified EMDR Therapist, and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, with over 12 years of experience supporting youth and adults on their therapeutic journeys. I have worked in school settings, community mental health, and private practice. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master's in School Counseling from the University of Central Florida.
