About Me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with more than 11 years of counseling experience. In addition to doing EMDR, I am also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy through the Inside Passage IFS Foundations Therapy Training Program. I help individuals explore and understand the dynamics that shape their lives. Whether my clients are feeling stuck in therapy, confronting deep-rooted issues, or dealing with trauma and PTSD, I am dedicated to helping them recognize and manage the external and internal factors that are holding them back. I bring years of experience in community health, where I supported a diverse clientele facing a variety of life challenges. I work with individuals from a broad range of backgrounds, including neurodivergent individuals, sexual and gender minorities, and immigrants, offering culturally sensitive and inclusive support tailored to their unique experiences. I am also adept at addressing issues related to aging, changing health conditions, the complexities of caring for aging relatives. Blending humor, a non-judgmental approach, and deep empathy for others, I create a supportive and engaging environment that facilitates open communication and effective therapy.
