About Me

I’m a Registered Social Worker, psychotherapist specializing in trauma, attachment wounds, and the emotional patterns that shape how we connect to ourselves and others. I use EMDR therapy to help clients process painful experiences, reduce distress, and build a greater sense of safety and self-compassion. My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy principles, offering a warm, collaborative space where healing feels supported and manageable. I work primarily with adults who are navigating the impacts of childhood trauma, anxiety, grief, or relationship challenges. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to break free from old patterns, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you — with the goal of restoring balance, resilience, and hope.

Education & Experience

I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), with advanced training in evidence-based and attachment-focused therapies. My professional development includes: -EMDR Therapy – EMDRIA-Approved Basic Training (pursuing advanced skills & certification) -Emotionally Focused Therapy – EFIT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy) & EFCT (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy) -Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) -Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) -ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) I also hold a College Diploma in Mental Health and Addictions. I specialize in trauma, attachment injuries, anxiety, and blending EMDR with relational and emotion-focused approaches to help clients heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves.
