About Me
I’m no stranger to working with clients who struggle with anxiety, shame and just want to be free to be themselves. Over the years I’ve found that most of the anxiety issues I’ve worked with started from a life experience or circumstance. When clients come to therapy they begin to understand that anxiety isn’t necessarily who they are, but their anxiety helped them adapt to some very tricky people, environments and situations. When I work with clients it’s an interactive experience aimed at helping them get to know themselves more clearly with new perspectives to consider. I approach all clients from a trauma informed framework and utilize evidence based interventions. Blending parts work (IFS), EMDR and Yoga for Mental Health, I provide nervous system regulation skills, insight development and trauma recovery. I take the time to get to know my clients, really hear their concerns, and make sure I have an understanding of what they hope to achieve. I serve as a guide on their therapy journey offering reflections and asking thoughtful questions that support fostering change. I like to think that success is not measured by elimination of their problems, but rather how they gain the confidence and self-trust to face each life moment.
