About Me
My therapy approach is collaborative and I seek to attune to a clients strengths and inner wisdom. I utilize attachment-based, somatic, depth and cognitive theories in my practice. With each session, we will attend to your current and past challenges and your responses with compassion and curious inquiry. I enjoy working with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, perinatal/postpartum issues, eating disorders/disordered eating, addiction/compulsive behavior and life transitions. I work with all genders, non-binary individuals and LGBTQ+.
Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been a therapist for over 14 years. I have experience working in residential centers, outpatient settings, research, teaching and private practice. I received an MA in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College (2008) and a BA in Psychology from Portland State University (2005). I utilize Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 2 trained), EMDR, Internal Family Systems, TIST and depth psychology in my practice.
