About Me
Maybe you’ve felt stuck in the same cycles, speaking to yourself in ways you’d never speak to someone you love, or carrying the heavy weight of burnout and overwhelm. You may have worked hard to manage it on your own, or perhaps you’re simply ready for a new way forward. Together, we can explore where these patterns began, uncover the moments that shaped how you see yourself, and begin the work of healing those wounds. This is your time to rewrite your story — to create a fresh beginning and make the changes you’ve been longing for. Keep reading to learn how we can work together to help you move forward. I offer individual therapy, EMDR intensives both virtually and in-person in my office in Issaquah. Reach out to schedule a consultation or to learn more.
Education & Experience
Hi, I’m Kellyn McCullough —I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State. Since 2014, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients as they navigate some of life’s most challenging seasons. My early work in a treatment center for eating disorders deeply shaped my understanding of healing — it taught me the importance of compassion, safety, and truly being seen in the therapy process. In 2017, I began my private practice and trained in EMDR. Today, I’m an EMDR-certified therapist through EMDRIA, with additional training in evidence-based care for PTSD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and OCD. My approach blends EMDR and parts work to help clients get to the heart of what’s causing distress — not just manage the surface symptoms. In addition to weekly sessions, I offer EMDR intensives: focused, extended sessions that can bring meaningful relief in less time and often at a lower overall cost. My own introduction to EMDR came in 2016, when my therapist suggested it for me. Experiencing its impact firsthand changed the way I understand healing. I know how powerful and emotional the process can be — and how much freedom it can bring. I’m especially drawn to working with people who are ready to do the deeper work of understanding how old wounds may be shaping present patterns and opening up space for something new. Outside the therapy room, I’m a mom of two and find so much joy in everyday moments — dancing in the living room, getting a little messy in the kitchen, or heading outdoors to explore. Those simple, connected moments remind me of why I do this work: healing makes space for more of life’s joy to come through.
