About Me
Born and raised in Seattle, Kendra C. Roberson, PhD, (she/her) I am an HBCU (Historically Black College and University) grad (Spelman College), with a Master's in Social Work from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work (1993) and a PhD from University of Maryland, in Baltimore (2003) who lives in Davenport, Iowa. My SW practice experiences have included medical social work, work with pregnant and parenting teens, psychiatric social work, international adoption, and community and private mental health. I teach regularly at the University of Washington, School of Social Work as an adjunct and outside of teaching, I am an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Certified Therapist, a Clinical Consultant and Supervisor, and I provide Psychotherapy Intensives. I am also a yogi/yoga teacher, love to travel and eat! And, I have two adult sons, daughter in-loves and 4 grandchildren!
