About Me
I am an integrative trauma-informed, attachment based, relational Licensed Mental Health Therapist. My approach incorporates Attachment, Internalized Family Systems, Multicultural and Feminist theories. I utilize a relational, person-centered, collaborative approach with techniques from my basic training by EMDRIA (2021) in Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), advanced training (2022) by Dr. Laurel Parnell in Attachment Focused-Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (AF-EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I specialize in helping individuals heal from childhood trauma, anxiety and panic, depression, body image issues, ADHD, grief, identity development, low self-esteem, codependency, PTSD and C-PTSD.
Education & Experience
I opened my practice, Solace Cactus, PLLC in 2024 to provide a safe space for individuals seeking healing and recovery from trauma. I received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Substance Use and Addiction from Antioch University, Seattle in 2021. I completed my internship at both La Perla Counseling & Trauma Response Services, Inc. where I provided EMDR for trauma survivors and Touchstone Behavioral Health in Blaine where I provided community based therapeutic services. During my pre internship practicum, I provided counseling services at the Antioch Community, Counseling, and Psychology clinic and volunteered with adult women facing homelessness at Mary’s Place in Seattle.
