About Me
In my practice, I am always actively developing and putting in to practice the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and abilities that are essential for providing quality therapeutic services to people from all backgrounds. My work is informed by behavioral, cognitive, developmental, neurobiological and psychodynamic relational approaches. I have dedicated the last three years, during the COVID-19 pandemic, to becoming certified in EMDR in order to assist those who come to me with a history of trauma. I know the need out there is great, increased by the turmoil of current world states. To honor this, the welfare and rights of my patients always share the spotlight with treatment approaches. Cultural, individual, and role differences, including those based on age, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, language, and socioeconomic status must be respected and I strive to work within the framework of the patient’s values and life choices and always from a point of collaboration; The path followed in our work together will be guided by you as much as by my training and expertise.
