Education & Experience

I am in private practice, working with clients from 12 year old on up through the lifespan in individual and family therapy sessions. I previously worked in a residential treatment facility for youth ages 10-18 for almost 25 years. I have provided individual, family and group therapy sessions. I have worked with both victims of sexual abuse and those who have engaged in sexually maladaptive behavior. I have helped those who have caused sexual harm to work through the underlying issues to the point where they were able to successfully reintegrate into the home, working closely with the victim and victim's therapist, and deferring to them as to the pace of this, when reintegration is possible. I am experienced in helping clients work through significant PTSD and Complex Trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and Addictions Issues. I am comfortable helping clients integrate Christian faith into their healing journey if that is a source of strength and comfort for them, or something that they wish to explore.
