About Me

Hi there, happy to see that you made it here as you look for ways to feel better about yourself, your relationships and your life. I see myself as your trustworthy co-pilot and wholeheartedly believe you have the answers you need within. I don't pretend to be the expert on you. You are! Together, we’ll get to know and understand the cause of your pain and uncertainty, help to change your relationship to your symptoms, and work towards healing. I commit to being fully present with you every step along the way and to listen, support, challenge, provide information, clarify and reinforce your strengths, offer alternatives and teach new skills. We’ll focus on getting to the roots of your struggles, while learning new, practical ways to improve daily life. All while using proven techniques and strategies that work, like EMDR and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. My down-to-earth, compassionate approach (sprinkled with a healthy dose of humor) will create a safe, judgment-free space for you to do the work needed for growth and change. I will support and gently challenge you to embrace vulnerability by sharing your story of who you are with your whole heart.

Education & Experience

For the past 25 years, I’ve remained passionate and steadfast to supporting people, just like you and me, to lead more fulfilling lives. By moving past the suffering caused by trauma, anxiety, depression, shame, anger or whatever it is that leaves you feeling stuck, you’ll be able to focus on what is truly important to you. In this collaborative process you’ll find that "you" becomes more clear leading to greater freedom and alignment with your values. This way you can show up in the ways you'd like at home, work and in relationships. Since obtainining my Master's degree from Boston College in 1998, I've been blessed to do what I love. For the first 15 years of my career, my work focused on supporting children and families impacted by trauma. I started off providing home, school and clinic-based therapy and clinical case management I then moved into senior leadership positions where I could make a greater impact by designing new evidence-based programs and providing supervison and trainings to teams of people to ensure top notch care. About 10'ish years ago, I shifted to working primarily with adults and got to design and then manage an innovative program supporting adults with mental health struggles, like anxiety, depression, trauma, etc., to be successful in the workplace. I am now trained to administer the WOWI (World of Work Inventory), which is a multi-faceted career assessment tool. All of this has led me to my rewarding position ever...which is going back to my roots and being in private practice where I can support people to live more connected and fulfilling lives.
