About Me
I work primarily with adults navigating: complex or developmental trauma, PTSD related grief, attachment wounds or relational ruptures, anxiety, depression, shame, being overwhelmed, nervous system dysregulation, dissociation, and patterns that keep emerging even after "doing the work."
In our work together, I'll support you in finding safety — not just in our relationship, but inside your own body and nervous system. You set the pace. We'll gently explore what's coming up and help your system shift out of survival mode. While EMDR therapy is at the heart of my approach, I also draw from other evidence-based techniques to support your healing.
My Journey To Becoming A Therapist
My own growth through personal life struggles is what helps me relate so deeply with clients.
After experiencing Hurricane Katrina, I understood what it was like to experience adversity. I received the support I needed during this difficult time. So now I help others that experience challenges or trauma in their lives too.
My life experiences are what lead me to become the therapist I am today.
