Kimberly Hage, LCSW
About Me
I have special training in EMDR, IFS, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapies, and Prolonged Exposure and other evidence-based therapies. I began my career in the social work field 14 years ago, working with adults and children with intellectual, physical, and emotional disabilities. This began a journey that has offered a variety of experiences. I have a direct but gentle therapeutic style. I believe my clients have strengths that are invaluable to the therapeutic process and strive to assist them in discovering those strengths. I have been married 15 years and have a blended family of 7 children and 9 grandchildren. I love to fish, hike, tent camp, read, put puzzles together and playing board games. My experience includes working in an inpatient facility, conducting addictions groups and providing individual therapy. I have worked in the addictions field in a number of ways including providing educational classes, leading Intensive Out Patient Groups (IOP), and relapse prevention. My experience includes opioid, cocaine, alcohol, marijuana and other drugs. I accept clients who are using Suboxone as a part of their recovery process. I have led domestic violence groups and provided individual therapy to women who have experienced domestic violence. I have special training for military members and their families. This training has equipped me to work with firefighters, police officers, EMT workers, and prison workers. The areas I have the most passion about are: complex trauma, addictions and mental health struggles, empowering women who are domestic violence survivors and working with first responders. I strive to give my clients hope and dignity while helping them overcome.
