About Me

People often reach out when familiar ways of managing life stop working. I help clients notice and reorganize patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting to better fit their present reality and release what no longer serves them. My work is grounded in a strengths-based, person-centered approach, with frequent use of CBT, ACT, and EMDR, an evidence-based method for processing trauma and past experiences that continue to affect the present. I work with adults navigating trauma, long-held pain, life transitions, and challenges in emotional regulation or self-understanding. The goal is a safe, nonjudgmental space to grow in awareness, integration, and authenticity. I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to be preoccupied by something that feels unresolved. I collaborate with clients to address challenges directly and create practical, sustainable change, helping them live with more clarity, responsibility, and purpose.

Education & Experience

I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Counseling in 2015. I've worked in the foster care system, office-based agency, community mental health, and private practice. I was EMDR trained in 2018, certified in 2024, and have used EMDR to great effect with clients suffering from PTSD, OCD, anxiety, and depression. EMDR fits in well with my overall personality and style, placing my client in charge of the pace, focus, and goals.
