About Me
I’ve been a therapist since 2008, and in the mental health field over 25 years. I believe in a relational approach that considers the individual, their environment, life experiences, personality, needs and strengths.I've worked with adults, children and adolescents and have experience with treating both acute and chronic forms of trauma as well as many other mental health and relationship issues. I support clients with stabilization/resourcing strategies, understanding the origin and impact of past and present issues, and working towards improved overall functioning in relationships, school/work, and problematic symptoms/behaviors. I take an interactive approach to working with clients which I've found effective in creating emotional safety, understanding, support and connection. I enjoy sharing my clinical knowledge and resources related to client goals and that collaboration is key to successful outcomes. I am happy to set up an initial 15-20 minute consultation via phone or video so we can meet and determine if you feel we will be a "good fit" before committing to working together
