About Me
Hi, I’m Kristin—I'm glad you're here.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor with over seventeen years of experience supporting adults (18+) navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-worth, substance use, attachment wounds, and relationship challenges. Much of the distress people carry stems from past experiences that the brain hasn’t fully processed. Instead of healing, these experiences often lead to negative self-beliefs that impact how we relate to ourselves and others.
I use EMDR therapy because it works.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma and distressing life events. EMDR activates the brain’s natural healing process through bilateral stimulation—such as eye movements, sounds, or taps—helping people move beyond old patterns and emotional blocks. Time and again, I’ve witnessed EMDR help clients find relief and build more resilient, meaningful lives.
If you’re curious to learn more, I offer a free 15 minute consultation to explore whether we’re a good fit. Please reach out by email—I’d love to hear from you!
Education & Experience
A Special Focus: EMDR for Relationship Healing
Many of my clients feel stuck in their relationships—whether they’re longing for one, struggling in one, or seeking a deeper connection with themselves or others. To support this work, I’ve developed a therapy experience that combines EMDR with mindfulness, specifically designed to address relational wounds and improve emotional connection.
This custom-built offering includes EMDR sessions, a mindfulness e-book, an EMDR journal, guided meditations, worksheets, and progress-tracking tools. It’s a trauma-informed, nervous-system-friendly path for people ready to do deep work toward healing and meaningful change.
