About Me
I am a former first responder, with emergency medical services and currently a Licensed Counselor. I am licensed in NJ as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and in NY as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). My mission is to help others heal from post-traumatic stress injuries, so they can go on to live their best lives. I specialize in trauma and believe in treating the whole person, heavily focusing on multiple areas of wellness. I believe that trauma is an injury and with an eclectic evidence-based approach, the injury can heal.
Education & Experience
I am a Board Certified (NCC) Licensed Counselor with an M.A., with distinction in mental health counseling from Hofstra University. I am a certified EMDR trauma therapy provider and certified as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP), as well as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am the Founder and Managing Director of Warrior Wellness Counseling, LLC and serve as a clinician for New York Law Enforcement Assistance Program (NYLEAP) where I provide clinical supports for first responders and military personnel. I am also the Director of Clinical Advisement for Beyond the Badge, where I provide clinical guidance as needed to Beyond the Badge NY and affiliated chapters.
