Kristina Colletti, LPC, NCC, CPRP, CCTP
About Me
I am a former first responder, with emergency medical services and currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My mission is to help others heal from post-traumatic stress injuries, so they can go on to live their best lives. I specialize in trauma and believe in treating the whole person, heavily focusing on multiple areas of wellness. I believe that trauma is an injury and with an eclectic evidence-based approach, the injury can heal.
Education & Experience
I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Biology from Hofstra University and continued my education completing master's level courses in physician assistant studies, as well as completed training to become a certified EMT. Before making the decision to return to school and pursue my true vocation, I worked as a pharmaceutical representative for Pfizer Inc. and Johnson & Johnson. I am a Board Certified (NCC) Licensed Professional Counselor with an M.A., with distinction in mental health counseling from Hofstra University. I am an EMDR trauma therapy provider and certified as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP), as well as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I have experience working with individuals who are mandated to treatment through parole, probation, other alternatives to incarceration, EAP involvement, Child Protective Services, as well as first responders and military. I am the Founder and Managing Director of Warrior Wellness Counseling, LLC and also volunteer as the Clinical Administrator for New York Law Enforcement Assistance Program (NYLEAP) where I coordinate clinical supports for first responders and military personnel.
