About Me
I am a queer, non binary person and a surivior of many things with live mental health experience. I practice from decolonized and liberation psychology perspectives and focus on 2STLGB & BIPOC communities, survivors of abuse, and life transistion issues for ages 13 to 65. My practice is only viritual at this time and I serve all of Texas. I am parent of a teenager and two loveable dogs.
Education & Experience
I graduated from teh Univeristy of Houston's Graduate School of Social Work with a master's degree in social work in the summer of 2012. I recived my clinical license in 2021 and completed the certified clinical truama professional training shortly after being fully licsend. In May of 2024, I completed EMDRIA training. I have expreince with kids as young as 5 to adults age 87. I have had the privelege to provide clinical case management to histrocially underesourced and minoritized populations for 17 years prior to getting my clinical license. I have a growing understanding of how historical & ntergenerational taumas and present day systems of oppression impact mental health and wellness.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of IDHA (the Insitute of Developing Human Arts) and the Debt Collective's Healthcare Workers Solidarity Collective. I volunter with the Mahogany Project wich focus on Black Trans Liberation.
