About Me
Then you hold life like a face between your palms... and you say, yes, I will take you, I will love you, again. When I first heard these words in a poem by Ellen Bass, I immediately connected them to the healing that can occur in therapy. Symptoms of trauma, depression, and anxiety can dull our human experience. Whether you or your preteen/adolescent child are hoping to process trauma, or looking for strategies to cope with uncomfortable emotions, there are pathways through that lead to a more vibrant life. I have specialized training in evidence-based trauma treatment and Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR therapy (Level I Trained) to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. When working with anxiety and depression, I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral and mind/body approaches, helping clients manage symptoms and develop long-term coping skills. I strive to offer an affirming, collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel heard and have access to choices regarding your treatment. I invite you to reach out if you have additional questions or would like to set up an appointment.
