About Me
I’m a trauma-informed therapist serving clients in Ashburn, Virginia. I help adults and teens navigate trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. As an EMDR-trained licensed professional counselor (LPC) and level II certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP-II), I work with clients who are struggling to move past painful memories, debilitating anxiety, or tumultuous relationship patterns. So much of how we perceive the world and others is shaped by childhood experiences - understanding how adverse or traumatic experiences have shaped how you react and communicate can often be life-changing.
Education & Experience
I have nearly 15 years of experience helping survivors of sexual and domestic violence in community mental health, non-profit, and private practice settings in Northern Virginia and D.C. I also have significant experience helping clients work through various life transitions and stressors. My approach is person-centered and I often utilize EMDR, cognitive behavioral, and psychodynamic approaches. I have an undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College, and a graduate degree in Counseling & Development from George Mason University.
