Online Therapy

About Me

I am currently accepting clients (updated 3/13/2024). I use a compassionate, accepting, and motivational style to empower people to know themselves better and improve their lives. I offer sessions in-office and online. Also trained in DBT, I can assist people in learning a variety of skills to improve their quality of life through mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance. Once a person can self-regulate their emotions, they can do this deep trauma work to address underlying reasons for symptoms like intrusive memories, fear that something bad will happen, feelings of worthlessness, flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, depression, and getting triggered by things that remind a person of the disturbing event. DBT can be a great starting point to work toward EMDR if you engage in less-than-healthy coping skills. Please note, if you currently have a dissociative disorder, I am not yet ready to work with you and I need more training. Please seek an EMDR therapist who specializes in dissociative disorders.

Education & Experience

I received my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Fresno in 2018. After 4 years of experience in public mental health, I now work for a private practice. I am comfortable and experienced with working with my LGBTQIA+ community.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and EMDRIA.
