About Me
I am a Licensed Independent Soical Worker-Suerpvsior who owns a priavate practice, Still Meadow Counseling LLC. I specialize in treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, Autism and eating disorders. I am currently doing extensive research on Treatment Resistant Depression and plan to specialize in that as well. I am trained by law enforcement (FBI) in crisis intervention and crisis management. I have extensive traiing in conflict resoluion and mediation. I have great success in treating PTSD with EMDR. I have successfully used EMDR with OCD by reducing repetitive behaviors and perserverating thouhts. I working toward becoming a Cerfified Autism Clincical Counselor. I was tainred at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Trauma Focused-Cogntivie Behavior Therapy, which I frequently use in conjenction with EMDR. I have served first responders, healthcare professionals, military personnel and now also serve the elderly population (over 65). I have a lot of experience in working with the elderaly. I believe I relate well to them in view of my age, 68 years old.
Education & Experience
Master of Social Work, Ohio State University (2012); Employee Assistance Program Coordinator for the Cincinnnati Division of the FBI for 16 years (1994-2010). I was a Special Agent for 31 years. I received training in grief counseling through the Chaplain's Corp as well as extensive training in crisis intervention through training offered by EAP. I have experience in responding to critical incidents such as shootings and other crisis sitatuations. I have done extensive reseach on the pyschological profile of school shooters and have received formal training from the FBI in how to respond to a school shooting.

NASW Member, FBI Agents Association-I am active supporter of the FBI Agents Association College Fund which provides scholarhips for the children of FBI agents killed or disabled.
