About Me
Lindsay Innis (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and art therapist. A NOVA native, she holds a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from The George Washington University. Prior to private practice, Lindsay worked in various settings, including a PHP/IOP program for adolescents, a residential treatment center, a special education school, a children’s hospital, a hospice/bereavement program, a group home for adults with severe mental illness, and a nonprofit serving veterans. Lindsay is happy to support clients of all ages and neurotypes; however, she especially enjoys working with adolescents and young adults, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent individuals. Lindsay hopes to extend her calming, creative, and compassionate self to support those working through depression, anxiety, mood disorders, suicidality, self-harm, life transitions, gender identity, trauma, grief, and loss. Her approach can be described as person-centered, direct when needed, and compassionate.
