About Me
I chose social work because of my passion for helping people live their best lives and because of my commitment to social justice. With 14 years of working in this field, I have seen how restoring relationships with ourselves and our loved ones can help us navigate the tumultuous times we live in. I believe that we all have an innate ability to grow and learn and I view my clients as the experts in their own lives. My work is rooted in my values of compassion, empathy, and curiosity. I love the therapeutic process, educating clients and other professionals, and connecting to our holistic Self. I am thrilled to now offer EMDR therapy, as I particularly love helping people heal from big T and little t trauma. One of my other primary clinical interests is helping people with chronic illness/medical conditions, physical disabilities, and medical trauma. As an amputee also living with a rare chronic medical condition, I can assist others navigate living with a disability or medical condition in a unique, compassionate way.
