About Me
Are you struggling to feel attached to your child after experiencing a traumatic birth? Maybe you're reminded of your own traumatic experiences as an infant or toddler, or reminded of the poor relationships you had with your primary caregivers. I’m Dr. McCormick, and I help mamas and birthing folks heal their traumas so they can build secure relationships with their babies and children. Using attachment-focused EMDR therapy and EMDR therapy Intensives, we can process these memories that are getting in the way of you bonding with your little one. I can even help your little process their pre-verbal trauma from their in utero experience, during their traumatic birth, and help them find a secure base in you.
