About Me

With over 10 years’ experience working in the human services field supporting people of all ages and abilities, my professional experience includes working in child development, disability services, vocational rehabilitation and employment services, mental health and substance use, as well as community outreach programs. My education and experience provide me with a unique understanding of the relationship between individuals and their environment, and how stress can impact one’s physical and mental well-being. My clinical specialties include anxiety, depression, relationships and trauma as well as boundaries and communication and personal growth. I work from a client-centered, strengths-based approach utilizing various counselling frameworks, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing. My goal is to help people recognize the patterns that have kept them stuck, while creating stronger boundaries and healthier relationships with themselves and others.

Education & Experience

To support you in your goals, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from the University of Calgary and achieved a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am a member in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and hold the credential of Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). I am also Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
