About Me
Lorraine has over 20 year’s clinical experience in the areas of complex trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence, mental health, and grief and loss. She has worked across many services with a specific focus on complex trauma and childhood sexual assault in health, education, family and community services including non-government organisations. Over the past 15 years Lorraine has worked in private practice in Ashfield. Lorraine and uses an integrative, curious, collaborative and empowering approach with her clients. Her practice is strengths based and psychological focused on client centered resilience. She uses a range of therapeutic modalities including EMDR, , Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Positive Psychology. She is an accredited Trainer and Coach in Hypnotherapy, Time Line Therapy® and NLP. She is a trained facilitator of Brene Browns work on shame and vulnerability running workshops on Daring Greatly and Rising Strong. Lorraine is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and an Approved Counsellor for Victims Services NSW and Open Arms working with VETs and their families.
