About Me
I am an LCSW licensed in Connecticut and Indiana (remote only). I am the Clinical Director for the Trauma Recovery Clinic at The Rowan Center, an outpatient mental health clinic for adult survivors of trauma who have HUSKY (CT Medicaid) insurance (www.therowancenter.org). I also have a private practice (www.lukerobbinscounseling.com), where I accept Aetna (Connecticut and Indiana) as well as out-of-pocket pay clients. My goal is to empower my clients towards self-sufficiency and work my way out of their lives as quickly and compassionately as possible. For more information, please visit my website at www.LukeRobbinsCounseling.com
Education & Experience
I received my MSW from the University of Chicago, and have been providing trauma therapy to children, adolescents, and adults since 2015. I have experience working with victims of sexual violence, first responders, adults who suffered trauma as children, individuals who identify as sex acts addicts, general depression, anxiety, and OCD, and individuals who do not identify as victims or survivors of trauma who are looking to add new emotional or cognitive tools to their tool-belt.
