Dr. Luz Robles, Clinical Psychologist
(Dr. Luz Robles)
About Me
As a bilingual trauma-informed psychologist and licensed clinical social worker, I specialize in helping individuals heal from complex trauma through the lens of EMDR and neuropsychological insight. I bring warmth, cultural humility, and deep clinical experience to every session. My work is guided by the belief that healing is possible when the therapeutic space is grounded in safety, trust, and evidence-based care. Whether addressing developmental trauma, psychological trauma, or life transitions, I am passionate about helping clients reclaim their narrative and restore a sense of inner calm and resilience.
Education & Experience
I earned my Doctorate in Psychology and Master’s in Psychology from Alliant International University, and a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I am a Diplomate of the American Board of School Neuropsychology, and I am licensed to practice in California and Nevada. Currently, I lead a private practice, Lucero Wellbeing, where I provide EMDR therapy, psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, and consultation for clients and clinicians alike. My experience includes years of work in community mental health, neurorehabilitation, trauma-focused foster care programs, and academic settings. I also teach graduate courses, helping shape the next generation of therapists.
