About Me
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Two Harbors, MN, offering both in-person and virtual/telehealth appointments. My practice is rooted in the belief that true healing begins with understanding. As a therapist, my greatest strength is that I’ve done the work I ask my clients to do. This personal experience enables me to offer empathy, guidance, and a deep understanding of the challenges you may face on your journey. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and incorporate both DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) approaches in my work. These evidence-based methods will help us uncover the "Why" behind your mental health struggles. Together, we’ll explore the root causes of your distress, empowering you to make choices that align with who you truly want to be and the life you were meant to live. I primarily work with adults 18 years and older, offering a trauma-informed approach that ensures a safe and supportive environment. My purpose is to share space with you on your healing journey, providing support in the way that feels best for you. Whether you’re seeking to process past trauma, navigate life’s challenges, or discover a deeper sense of purpose, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Choosing therapy with me means choosing a path toward healing that’s grounded in compassion, skill, and a deep commitment to your well-being. The work we do together goes beyond symptom relief; it’s about getting to the root of your pain and helping you grow into the person you want to be. Trusting to walk your your healing journey with me, means you’re choosing a partner who is dedicated to helping you build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. I’m here to share space with you, offering the support you need to create meaningful change.
