About Me
As a highly sensitive person I have always been drawn to the healing arts. I believe everyone has the innate ability to heal and all the techniques I offer are things that I have received the benefit from as well in my own personal work. Starting out in the field of addiction treatment, I often felt frustrated by the lack of real results and constant cycle of relapsing my clients were trapped in. I knew that talking about the problem wasn’t enough. This lead me to pursue further training in trauma therapies, somatic work, and energy healing. I believe that true change is possible when we get to the root source. The type of work I do is deep and transformational, and I work from a trauma-informed lens. In addition to my formal education I am also a fully trained EMDR therapist, Yoga teacher, and Usui Reiki Level II practitioner. I believe that using a combination of clinical skills with holistic healing methods provides a container for total transformation of mind, body, and spirit. I am able to combine traditional talk therapy with EMDR or Reiki healing for 50, 75, or 90 minute sessions.
