About Me
I am a licensed counselor committed to helping clients re-author the narratives of their lives. I am the wife of a retired USN SWCC, parent of four, including an active duty soldier. I have previously worked in public health, public relations, and journalism. I am also a yoga teacher and an apprentice yoga therapist. I flourish most when I am living in my strengths of gratitude and learning - which is every day with my amazing clients and the work they do that inspires me!
Education & Experience
I have an M.Ed. in counseling from William & Mary and now have 5 years of experience in counseling, both in inpatient addictions treatment and in outpatient private practice. I have additional training in working with military and veteran populations.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of the SOF Network, a national network serving SF communities. I am a member of the ACBS, and am an ACT therapist, and as an addictions specialist I am a member of NAADAC. I am a member of my state level counseling organizations. I am a member of the Virginia Community Response Network, which provides training for volunteer crisis response in Virginia.
